Katie Miller
PRINCIPAL, PRESIDENT
Katie Miller, CPCC, President of Left Lane Advisors, brings over 30 years of experience managing people at all levels with over a decade of experience in coaching leaders, both in the private sector and for public agencies. With a background steeped in the behavioral sciences, she holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Psychology. Complementing this, Katie’s additional educational credits include an MBA, certifications in coaching from the Coaches Training Institute; conflict resolution; and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace from Cornell University.
Katie serves as an expert in CEO selection, communication, conflict resolution and management, alignment-building, organizational behavior, and leadership development, and is certified in multiple 360 and self-assessment tools. She develops and facilitates training programs and workshops on a variety of topics, such as building trust, effective communication, and conflict management. Katie also chairs the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Advisory Council at Fehr & Peers.

Matt Henry
AFFILIATE ADVISOR, EXECUTIVE COACH
Matt Henry is a strategic advisor and executive coach partnering as an affiliate to Left Lane Advisors where he has been providing management consulting services for nearly a decade. He advises dozens of AE industry CEOs and senior executives on a full range of organizational health issues including leadership development and succession, ownership transition, strategic planning, recruiting and retention, visioning and alignment, operational excellence, and growth initiatives. Matt holds an Professional Coach Certification (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation and is certified to administer the Hogan Assessment suite of leadership development tools.
Matt brings his industry clients a unique and invaluable skill set from his rich experience as a successful CEO. Matt served over 15 years as CEO of Fehr & Peers – one of the largest consulting firms in the nation that focuses exclusively on transportation planning and engineering. As leader of the firm’s second-generation executive team, he oversaw several major growth initiatives, multiple acquisitions, an internally funded R&D program, and a robust career development program. During his 28-year total tenure, the firm expanded nationally, growing from 2 offices to 15, from around 20 employees to 320, and from 3 shareholders to 36. Matt also led the executive-level succession program to ensure the firm’s continuity as a legacy company for many years to come through the successful transition from the second generation to the third.

He currently oversees the performance and development of more than 40 staff as the operations manager of Fehr & Peers’ Los Angeles office, giving him a practical, real-world perspective on what it takes to lead effectively.
His coaching focuses on strengthening core leadership skills—including giving and receiving feedback, resolving conflict, and balancing empathy with accountability—so clients can build trust, elevate performance, and foster healthy team cultures. He has also developed and facilitated training programs and leadership forums designed to enhance skills in project management, organizational leadership, and conflict resolution, blending research-based frameworks with actionable tools that leaders can apply immediately. Across all his work, he is committed to helping individuals and teams grow with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
